"I can’t imagine life without Jamie! She has been assisting me in organizing my home for almost a year. In doing so, Jamie has helped me enjoy my home so much more and given me an unexpected sense of peace and order in my life. I originally hired Jamie to help me with decluttering a specific room that had become a storage unit during COVID.
"But soon, I realized that Jamie could easily become for me the iconic Eldin of Murphy Brown fame! Jamie brings an extraordinary range of skills and a calm, supportive demeanor to her work. She can help me declutter, research ideal places to donate and fix or connect me with retailers to sell things. She is also willing to arrange or do the drop offs herself. It seems there isn't anything she can’t do!"

Jamie Griffin is gifted at decluttering. I worked with her first on a small project and I was so pleased I asked her for more and more help until we had reorganized my whole house, emptied my entire attic and cleaned out a very large storage unit that held over 125 boxes. I felt supported in the process but not pushed in any way. I enjoyed working with Jamie and recommend her unreservedly to anyone who dreads cleaning up or cleaning out their space. My personal library room was decluttered, but my most beloved and important items are still there. I can see them now though and the space feels peaceful and refreshed.

Jamie helped my 91-year-old mom and me clear out the house I grew up in. There was 63 years of accumulated STUFF! Jamie was AMAZING! She was able to go through every closet, box, bookshelf, and file cabinet with my Mom. She organized, sorted and cleared everything, all while listening to endless stories and reminiscing. My mom actually enjoyed the process. Jamie is a blast of fresh air: efficient, respectful, fast, positive, energetic, and energizing, a genius with organizing and space management. In addition, my Mom needed physical help with steps, getting food, and she is at high risk for falls. Jamie took all this in stride, and they tackled this project while I went to work. She can get done in one hour what would take me a full day! I recommend her skills and services with my whole heart! I trust her implicitly!

Hiring Jamie was absolutely the best decision I could have made. I was moving one floor in the same building and had left too much to the last minute. I seriously underestimated how much was left. Under a time crunch to get everything moved out, I asked Jamie for help. She worked tirelessly to get everything packed up and moved. She not only got everything out of the old apartment and moved to the new apartment but gave me a great head start on unpacking and organizing my kitchen. I could not have done it without her help. She was non-judgmental, flexible, pleasant and had great ideas about how to organize and set up my new space. I would highly recommend her. In fact, I hired her a week after my move to help me set up a new storage system and office. Jamie is the best!

In September 2022, I decided to sell my most beloved home of 61 years! This "project" launched all kinds of reflections, meditations, realizations both painful and comforting.
That meant I had to undertake major death-cleaning! Death-cleaning is not just undertaking a major housekeeping task. It is a transformative process, part retreat, a hands-on return to the past, a deluge of memories. It is not just sorting things out: what to give away, throw out, keep, sell, whom to give what to. It is an ongoing mixture of sadness, maybe regret, delight, longing, indecision, hilarity. I tend to be a sentimental person, so I keep letters, cards, programs, invitations, pictures of course - 71 years' worth! I also like books, children's drawings. So, the task of reducing the contents of the house where 13 had lived into what would fit into my new 190 sq. ft. tiny house is almost Herculean. As if that weren't daunting enough, I had a major fall on my first day doing this, so I was no longer allowed to work there by myself. Happily, thanks to my daughter, Annie, for bringing in her Wonder Woman friend, Jamie Griffin, ostensibly to help me. Jamie was perfect for guiding me through this massive job. She is focused, super organized, tidy, creative, sensible, quick, knowledgeable, objective, cheerful, kind, patient, strong, understanding, doesn't scold, pressure, or criticize. We would have the most interesting and lively conversations as we went through everything. She is a gift from God in every way! Many, many thanks, Jamie!
Jamie has even come to squeeze me better into my little bread box of a home. She knows where my things are better than I do. What I have learned is that I should death-clean my poustinia (tiny home) every week from now on! Everybody needs a Jamie!
